点评：Big recommend. Have been to other vineyard tours in England, generally always good, but here you got a lot for your buck. The gentleman who took our tour was called William, he was an outstanding guide, very knowledgeable and accommodating. First up, you get a glass of fizz and an overview of the vineyard's story, then a look around the vines and the winery - we were slightly unlucky in that most of the harvest took place the day before, but hey-ho, that was just because the hot weather this summer made it necessary. After the look around you have a proper wine tasting: five different wines -glasses not splashes!- with a morsel of local produce to accompany and compare/contrast...followed by an entire charcuterie board and glass of your choice. Then a try of either their gin or their vermouth, made with the byproduct of their wine. All the while learning about the process and the history. You also get a discount on the wine proportionate to how much you buy. There is a bar on site, you can sit out and enjoy the vines and scenery with the local wine. Yes, we got lucky with the weather -perfect sunny 23°- and you might not get a tourguide as good as William (anywhere tbh, he was brilliant), but overall an absolute joy, loved every minute.
