Poor experience at Sandwell Valley MTB miners trails

点评：Based on the photos on the website I took my grandson to the MTB Miners trail at Sandwell Valley Country Park expecting a well maintained series of routes that would be an introduction to mountain biking.
Firstly, parking was a challenge as all the pay machines had been vandalised and the only way to pay was via an app which was irksome to set up.
Secondly, there were zero signs directing us to the MTB routes - I even asked at two visitor centres / cafes in the vicinity and nobody knew where the MTB routes were. Eventually, after a considerable amount of random searching we found the place purely by accident.
Thirdly, sadly the routes aren’t maintained, the area is scruffy and strewn with litter, consequently both I and my grandson felt very disappointed.
Consequently I wouldn’t recommend this park to anyone who wants ride on MTB routes as per the routes shown on the website.
