Pleasant enough gardens, but expensive

点评：Pleasant gardens for a two hour walk. Lovely pinetum and meadow walk. The pond is a very tranquil area of the gardens. I was met by a very friendly and helpful chap on the desk.
However, as an RHS member I was VERY disappointed that it is not a Partnership Garden - only in Jan, Feb and Nov. Whislt I can understand that a private garden needs to get as much in the way of funding as possible, I think its a bit mean to be so narrow minded to RHS members. Perhaps offer RHS membes free visits from November to March at least - whilst there is not so much open, then we would feel we were getting something for 5 months free. Or if not, then what about a discount as I thought £15 entry was rather steep. Perhaps offering entry for RHs member adults £10 entry? I think it would certainly be worth it then! As it was, I am not sure it was.
