Great way to spend a few hours on the water

点评：Treating my Mum to an autumn day out with a slight difference, we opted for the longer Exe river cruise.
Thankfully the weather held out and the visibility was fantastic so we could see the villages either side other river together with the autumnal colours and the trains going past.
Alas not much wildlife to be seen but then that’s never a guarantee.
We had pre booked the cream tea option which was delicious and served by a very friendly member of staff.
There was a steep ramp to get to the boat and board the vessel itself, the team were very helpful and supported Mum on and off, but just be warned that this may not be easy if your mobility is really limited and I’d strongly recommend letting them know beforehand - I hadn’t done so ( my bad ) but they really did all they can to make things as easy as possible.
Only slight downside is the commentary was a little hard to hear but it didn’t spoil the day.
Would strongly recommend.
