Pleasant walks but mind the undergrowth!
Arnos Vale Cemetery的点评
点评：It was a lovely sunny day and a walk around the cemetery was really good. There are some areas which have been cleared of undergrowth and seem to be kept tidy but most of the site is buried under heavy growth with the occasional headstone or monument top peeking out!
The Anglian Chapel is very nice and the crypt underneath has some interesting collections of funereal bits and pieces. The Spielman Centre used to be the only crematorium in the south west area for many years and down in the basement (go to the cafe and down the stairs to the toilets) you'll find interesting display boards and the original cremator together with the arrangements for lowering the coffins down from the chapel above to the cremator.
Once off of the main paths, the surfaces of the paths can be quite tricky.
Do try the cafe - its very good; limited menu but freshly prepared.
