点评:Turned off to see these caves on a whim and ended up missing lunch. This was just so cool. It happened to be raining during our visit and the water flows through the cave and out the back into some of the most amazing coastline and beaches on the island.
Disagree with “overpriced “ reviews. The price was 1200 yen for an adult and 600 for a child but that’s not expensive for Japan and they used cement to create walkways and stairs to get to all sections of the caves and beaches. They also lite the interior of the cave. We’ve paid a lot more for less when it comes to tourism in Japan.
PRO TIP: go on a day it is raining. The water pouring into the cave and out the back creates a beautiful and refreshing atmosphere and scares away other tourists giving you the space and quite to take it all in.
