Huge Disappointment
水上公园的点评
点评：At first glance this seemed like a decent enough choice for a day out during our holiday.
To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. We arrived around 11am and the park was virtually deserted. Being late September and a bit cloudy I didn't expect bustling crowds, but it felt like being in an abandoned amusement park. Far from being the novel experience you might assume, it just felt unsettling. Probably because 30 seconds after walking in you realise how run down it is.
It's not just that it needs a lick of paint. The sun loungers are dirty and the parasols are tatty. The whole place looks like it hasn't had any money spent on it in decades. It is seriously run down.
The walkways are filthy as are most of the slides. Several were out of commission when we went. Take care even walking around as the paths are very slippery to the point of being dangerous.
There was a canteen that sold reasonably edible food but it was pricey.
The staff throughout the park were mostly unfriendly and rude. From the man on the entrance desk to pretty much everyone else around the park they just looked and acted like they didn't want to be there. I paid extra for my kids to use the "wow balls" and was made to feel like I'd inconvenienced the staff member that had to inflate the balls. Worth noting that many of the activities around the park require an additional payment and are not covered by the entrance fee.
It's a huge shame as I'm sure this was great in its day, but its day has long since passed. It is in dire need of complete refurbishment.
I spent the better part of 300 quid on a trip here for a family of 6. It was a total waste. My kids are huge water park fans and were asking me to call a taxi to get them away from this place.
I hope this review spares someone the disappointment of a visit.
