Awesome Halibut Trip with a Great Captain & First Mate

点评：Great day Halibut Fishing on the Exciter II with Noah & Keegan. We were in a party of 8 for a mid day trip on Cook Inlet fishing in 180ft of water. It was quite the fun experience launching off the beach in a 40ft fishing boat. The weather was very cooperative and sea pretty smooth so the ride out and back was pleasant.
We got on halibut almost right away and everyone had plants of action. One fellow had a 50lb halibut and it actually took a while to get the “unders” because we were catching s many overs. Even had a few sharks, a skate, and even a pacific cod.
Noah and Keegan were very personable and helpful, especially with the less experienced fisherman on the trip. When we got back they made quick work of filleting the halibut. It was nice that they had several options for packaging and freezing depending on on what you wanted (like if you brought your own cooler or needed them prepped and frozen for shipping).
Overall an awesome trip and I highly recommend Afishunt !!
