Last but not Least RHS Garden
RHS Garden Hyde Hall的点评
点评：We have now visited all the RHS gardens, Hyde Hall being the last and biggest, and also the one nearest to us. Saved the best till last.
It was a very hot day, but we came prepared with water & hats. It is quite a long walk from the reception area to the main garden areas, but we had a luscious savoury cream tea before we set off. Very nice indeed, highly recommend.
We were given a map/plan of the gardens, and walked round methodically so we didn't miss anything.
We particularly enjoyed ambling through the Cottage Garden which is nearest to the reception. The flowers were glorious, with several plants that we have in our own garden, but on a much grander scale.
Another favourite was the Floral Fantasia, showcasing new blooms of many species. An absolute rainbow of colourful displays.
We always like to see the vegetable plot. Oh those moments when we see our own runner beans further up their canes, and our tomatoes doing slightly better! We took note of the companion planting which we will definitely try next season.
By now we were in need of refreshment before we walked back. A cold drink & the lemon & pistachio blondie did the trick.
Exit is through the garden centre and shop of course. There were 3 plants we would have liked to buy, but couldn't have kept them in the car for 2 days during the heatwave, on our weekend away. Shame.

我们总是很乐意去看看菜园。哦，每当看到自家种的菜豆藤蔓沿着支架不断向上攀爬，还有番茄长得也愈发茁壮时，别提有多开心了！我们注意到了所谓的“伴生种植法”，下个季节一定要试试看。
在返回之前，我们急需补充体力。一杯冷饮配上柠檬开心果布朗尼，正好解了我们的馋。
出口当然就是花园中心和商店那里啦。我们有三株植物很想买下，但在周末度假期间，由于热浪来袭，实在没法把它们留在车里两天。真可惜。
