点评:An excellent way for getting around the main parts of Venice but it does not go up the "back streets" so to speak. To see the smaller canals you will need to take a Gondola or a water taxi.
We bought a 24 hour pass and the good thing is that it does not start until you first use it so we actually got use on the second morning of our trip as well.
Be warned though; the ticket scanning machines are very temperamental and the kiosk staff are not especially helpful. We had bought our tickets online before arriving and printed off. The scanner to validate the ticket and the scanners to gain entry to the boats would not work. All the ticket office staff would say (at three different offices) was to go to the gate and keep scanning until it worked, which it never did!
I thought that it might be my printer but not so as there were many others having the same problem and they had purchased tickets locally. It seems to be a regular problem. Get ready to get on board via the exits or double jump the entry gates.
