Gem Mountain Sapphire Mine的点评
点评：This is my fourth or fifth visit to Gem Mountain Sapphire Mine, beginning about 15 years ago, and it was as fun, hot, exciting, and messy as ever- just as I’d expected. Usually I’ve come with at least one grandchild, and always just purchased a plain bucket or two of gravel. (Apparently prices have risen, but I’d expect that. It’s a family run business, who are hoping to make ends meet!) It’s fun to literally search for buried treasure, and the staff is quite helpful with their instructions and demonstrations. I e never had any particular expectations. I believe you can purchase premium containers with better “odds” of finding great stuff- but I’ve always been quite happy poking through my gravel, finding a few special sapphires. Some people really do find larger stones- when we were there, someone found a 4.3 and another a 6 carat stone.
