点评：I had the day to explore the area and discovered I only needed around half an hour, and that was it. A short walk around the marina was enough to realise this is nothing more than a dressed up dog toilet. There's p*** everywhere! With all that money, what's Boatfolk doing...or more precisely, not doing to address this problem that will, if left to continue, show signs of erosion to posts and begin to affect residents' health? Do people in this town not know how harmful such a high quantity of dog urine is to the environment and human health? It's shocking in a residential area. Ordinarily, dogs would be walked in fields, and this is bad enough to allow or worse, encourage dogs to wee and poop in front of people's homes and outside restaurants, cafes/s etc...I'm lost for words. I expect this is going to have to worsen before something is done. Not an easy issue to confront with dogs now a source of emotional support, but come on, people. If this isn't a wake up call to the disconnection in the community, I don't know what would be. Are people not very friendly in this town? Or do you have to have a dog before anyone will speak with you? People say Paris is dirty. It's by far cleaner than Portishead Marina. Every morning the streets are washed. It's not rocket science, Boatfolk. There are enzyme solutions that will clean the existing pee and prevent dogs from doing more. I can't vouch for the people who don't seem to either know the harm they're doing or care. I'm not sure what it will take for people to get their heads out of the poop holes!!
