Great fishing experience. Would highly recommend

点评：This is a great stop up in the mountains. We visited while we were staying in a campground in near by Bryson city. Getting there is a little tough at times so I would not recommend in a vehicle without a little ground clearance. The staff is friendly and very helpful and in most cases you will catch fish. The Grandson was amazed and he says his favorite activity for the week.
If you have issues with your poles or line just take it to the kiosk and they will swap it our. Lost a few hooks and and one very tangled rod but the staff tool care of it all.
The downside is you have to take what you catch at $7.90 a pound and that can add up quickly. There is also a $2 - $3 per fish charge for them to clean your catch. We just went with the filets. Be prepared! Have a cooler and ice and if you can bring a food sealer to store you catch and freeze afterwards that would be very helpful. We did not have a food sealer so we had to prepare and eat 20 filets in the next week!
We ended up catching 10 nice sized fish in a little over an hour and the butcher's bill came to $180. A little steep price but we ate fish for breakfast and dinner for the next week. Gave some filets away also. This was our second time visiting here and would visit again. (Go around the pond and fish from the spit near the stone bench!)
