Painfully slow cafe service
Croft Castle and Parkland的点评
点评：New Year’s Eve was probably one of the nicest days for a while which brought lots of people, families and dogs out, so quite busy. The cafe was running out of some of the hot food. After queuing for quite a time my wife asked for 2 sausage rolls. Only one was available and would be 1/2 an hour as it had to be ‘plated’ 🤔 my wife convinced the person serving that we would really like it now and did not need anything else added!!
I think in all our recent visits the serving of food has been slow and would benefit from reviewing how people can be got through quicker. Having been to other properties new and different systems seem to have been adopted which make the service quicker and more efficient.
Probably picnics for us going forwards.
However the site does have a varied selection of walks and some amazing views over a huge area of countryside. Additional dog waste bins that get emptied, as the castle does attract a lot of us dog owners would also be a positive step.
