韦尔东大峡谷的点评
点评：If you’re nearby stop off and visit. There are plenty of parking places. We parked on the left hand side of the big bridge as if your looking at the narrow section of the Gordge. Don’t make the mistake we did and decide that it’s a little busy so we’ll drive on because you’ll regret it haha. We drove on doing an extra 17 miles along roads so narrow with incredibly steep drops, I expected Wile E. Coyote to jump out chasing the road runner - yes it really was that bad! Anyway, once parked up the lake was beautiful. If the sun is shining the light on the rocks reflecting the water turns it a magnificent turquoise blue. You can hire a paddlo for 1 or 2 hours, an hr I think was 20€. You can paddle board, kayak, or swim. It’s always heavy with boat traffic no matter when you go, but we didn’t find that a problem. It’s so pretty and definitely worth a visit.
