Route 11 Potato Chip Factory的点评
点评：We stopped by the Potato Chip factory while staying in Massanutten. One of our friends had recently told us that these were their favorite Potato Chips, by far.
The person who greeted us was very nice and had only been there 6 months, but was very knowledgeable about their chips and their processes. When they moved production to their current location, they ordered custom equipment for their operation. It was fascinating to watch from beginning to end. The machines were all quite quick and efficient and the people doing the manual operations were also fun.
After our tour, we got to sample all the flavors of chips. My favorite was the Mama Zuma's Revenge which were quite hot and to my liking. While I didn't agree with my friend, the chips were good, but not the best. I still miss Husmann's from my youth in Cincinnati which was put out of business when they were bought out by Grippo's (I believe).
Overall, an educational and worthwhile experience.
