点评：Lovely round on the wide open Ocean Course. Stunning views. Friendly and professional staff.
At the Pro Shop, I was given several excellent tips. I would recommend asking for pointers when you show up to play. Best tip: ignore the general rule that the greens tend to slope towards the ocean.
I was a single, and they paired my up with a local. The course was in excellent condition. For a bogey golfer such as myself, the course was very, very manageable from the white tees, even with rental clubs. Clubbing down was an option on numerous tees, even though I am not a big hitter (220 yards with the driver is fine by me).
Greens were fast, but not impossibly so. Tip: I tended to overplay the breaks, which were less severe than they appeared to be.
Food and drinks were available on a cart. We let a few singles play through, which was not a problem. Plenty of space to do so. I finished my 7AM round at 10:50.
With the exception of a couple of chasms, it is nearly impossible to lose a ball on this course, which is a huge plus for a vacationing duffer who can lose 'em with the best of 'em. I was quite happy with my score, so I celebrated with a pint of Guinness at the 19th hole (Mullins).
The cost was steep, especially compared to my local public course.
