点评：Crystal hunting at Wegner Crystal Mine was one of the highlights of our Arkansas vacation. We booked the two-hour Crystal Forest Tour, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The Crystal Forest is covered with milky quartz, so it's easy for visitors of any age or skill level to experience the excitement of finding crystals. Our guide, Chris, explained how to identify the clearer quartz crystals, which often resemble pieces of dark, shiny glass before they're cleaned. Thanks to his tips, we found an impressive collection to take home.
Chris did an excellent job sharing the history of the mine, explaining how the crystals formed, and teaching us where and how to search. His enthusiasm made the tour both educational and fun.
If you're planning a visit, wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty, bring plenty of water, and pack a few simple digging tools like a small shovel, hand rake, screwdriver, chisel, and hammer. Being prepared will make the experience even more enjoyable.
Whether you're traveling with young children, teenagers, or adults, this is a memorable activity that everyone can enjoy. We would gladly return on a future trip to Arkansas.
