点评:as with others- Discriminatory practices for disabled badge holders. Not clear signage. drove up form Devon to take elderly relatives for a Christmas treat on an extremely rainy day, parked as near to door as possible, displayed blue badge. Received a fine/ Appealed, did not receive responses ( and then had debt collector letter. I'm now £170 . I'm not a blue badge user, so was unaware that private car parks charge disabled people, my disabled passenger is very visually impaired, so how we he know?
How is a disabled driver supposed to manage to park near the machine, get out of car (which can be challenging for many), get back in, park, get back out & get into the building?
Love the cafe, but I'd be reluctant to return due to BCA contracting this unethical company .
Given the number of similar complaints on here ( about appeal decision not arriving ), I.m also contacting trading standards.
