Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum的点评
点评：The museum is sophisticated in a lot of ways. And the exhibits there are mostly well done. We just felt like, for a president, there should have been more. He was president only a little more than 100 years ago and you would think there would be more artifacts and things that were personal possessions of President Wilson.
His Pierce arrow car was great and the information was really good. The temporary exhibit about ladies’ dress was small but well done. The doughboy exhibit was so dark. It was difficult to see. We did not tour his boyhood home or birthplace or whatever. So we can’t comment on that.
There were nice gardens and a lovely bookshop that was kind of over the top with the stuff they had for sale. Maybe they could’ve used a little bit of that room for another museum space or something.
I also would not have said there is a library. We saw a bookshelf with some books in it, but nothing I would call a library for a man who wrote so many books himself.
Again, not a bad museum. We just left a little disappointed that there wasn’t more to it.
