点评：After the toughest year of my life, I had the unshakeable feeling of needing (not wanting) to look death in the face. Why not jump out of an airplane? I booked a jump and drove 2 hours feeling like a lamb led to slaughter. I arrived at Skydive Orange and was immediately impressed with the hanger full of equipment and personable, fun people.
I always said there wasn't a chance in hell I could just jump out of a plane for the sake of jumping out of a plane. The pilot never announced we were losing oil pressure, or that we lost an engine to motivate me to go into lifesaving mode, so thankfully my spirit animal Zach was there to throw me out the door. I was paired up with the exact instructor and photographer I was meant to have. Zach and Joseph (fake Zach we called him) had my personality in themselves and made my experience absolutely amazing. These boys had a magical way of making you not even think about the fear or nervousness of what was about to happen.
My wife also jumped and was paired up with the exact right instructor for her. None of it was planned that way but worked out perfectly for the both of us. A man can only take his 5' 2 3/4" 100lb minx of a wife (who has jumped before) calling him a sissy and making him whimper like a sick cat so much before he needs to do something about it, so after a decade of marriage, I decided to prove to her I could jump out of something higher off the ground than a truck tailgate.
Zachs resume is absolutely mind blowing. This guy is approaching 17,000 jumps. You are considered an expert after 500, so let that marinade in your pocket for a minute.
If you are thinking about skydiving, the people and atmosphere at Skydive Orange are perfect. I will absolutely jump again with Zach and Joseph.
