Chena Hot Springs Resort的点评
点评：This is such an amazing place.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
When you arrive do not forget to sign the TWO page Waiver, absolving the place of any and all possible liability for anything.
Be aware of the 11 am checkout.
The Hot Springs are nice. If you visit for the day, it costs $20 to get in (towel extra). Kids under 18 are not allowed. But they can use the indoor pool and two hot tubs for $17. So the Hot Springs are worth $3 I guess.

The locker rooms are nice, they tried to mimic a 1950s YMCA vintage. The lockers cost 50 cents. Bring extra coins because some do not work and will also eat your two quarters (just like at the YMCA!). You can store your boots on communal racks just outside the pools (at your own risk of course).

We went on the Northern Lights tour ($110, sign the Waiver!) and did see the Northern Lights.
We went on the dog sled ($75, sign the Waiver!). The 20 minute ride went by so fast it seems like 10 minutes.
The restaurant is tiny. There are many cabins and rooms so expect to wait. Since there is only one restaurant you will enjoy the food at Airport prices.Try to get a table near the only window. You can look at the birds trying to find seed at the five empty bird feeders.

The gift shop is huge and full of overpriced tchotchkes.
The Lobby is small, filled with animal heads, three sofas filled with people waiting for the van or for the restaurant.
The activity center tries to duplicate a Boy Scout summer camp auditorium.
I honestly don’t know how they could possibly earn anymore stars.
