Outstanding Tour. Lunch and gardens

点评：We are from the USA and I've had Inveraray Castle on my bucket list for 15+ years. My husband and I saw 5 castles this trip before finally getting to Inveraray Castle. We arrived EARLY for our 11:15 tour and to my surprise, the parking lot was empty! We toured the castle and enjoyed the very informative display cases, highlight cards in each room, and kind and helpful human guides throughout. There were stories, anecdotes, history, and interesting tidbits in the display cases and on the room cards for everyone to read. But the human guides were very good at their jobs. One person truly stood out was a young lady from New Zealand who gave us quite a history lesson. This young lady was full of information and a palpable zeal for this country and castle. We were very impressed with her! My favorite rooms were inside the turrets. Very interesting. And we enjoyed this tour very much, ended up having lunch from the tea room outside on the patio area which was delicious and special. We then toured the beautiful gardens. What a beautiful way to see the castle with flowers all around. By the way, the crowds come after lunch so we quite enjoyed arriving in the morning to tour the house without tons of people. Over all the tour exceeded my expectations and was a highlight of my trip to Scotland and a dream come true. Very special trip indeed.
翻译：我们来自美国，我一直梦想着能去因弗雷里城堡，已经超过15年了。这次旅行，我和丈夫参观了五座城堡，终于来到了因弗雷里城堡。我们提前到达，参加的是11:15的导览团，令我惊喜的是，停车场竟然空无一人！我们参观了城堡，欣赏了内容丰富的展柜、每个房间里的介绍卡片，以及全程热情友好的导游。展柜和房间卡片上都充满了故事、轶事、历史和有趣的小知识，供大家阅读。导游们都非常专业。其中一位来自新西兰的年轻女士尤其令人印象深刻，她给我们上了一堂生动的历史课。这位女士知识渊博，对新西兰和这座城堡充满了热情。我们对她印象深刻！我最喜欢的是塔楼内部的房间，非常有趣。我们非常享受这次参观，最后在露台上的茶室享用了午餐，美味又特别。之后，我们又游览了美丽的花园。欣赏城堡四周鲜花环绕的美景真是太美好了。顺便说一句，午饭后人潮会涌来，所以我们很享受早上抵达时人少清静的参观体验。总而言之，这次旅行远超我的预期，是我苏格兰之旅的一大亮点，也是梦想成真。真是一次非常特别的旅行。
