Like the Garden of Eden - but with a bigger variety of apples! Love this place.

点评：This NT property is an unassuming little gem. Not a grand house or manicured landscape garden, but a beautiful informal setting with huge variety of plants, herbs and orchards. Gardens and orchards don't cover a large area but there is so much variety, some walled gardens, some informal, some more formal, so many sights & smells, such a relaxing place - I could lose myself for hours!
Cafe is small, but perfectly satisfactory with lovely enclosed courtyard with tables & parasols, although you can also eat inside. Friendly staff. There are wooded walks and house to visit, but you can get that at many other NT properties, we come here for the gardens and relaxing vibe. Free entry with our National Trust for Scotland memberships.
