利文斯庄园的点评
点评：Visited the Hall and gardens today while on holiday near Kendal.
We were warmly greeted by a lovely lady in the ticket box who explained where to go, what to see and opening times.
Firstly we walked all the beautiful gardens including the topiary garden which is amazing.
At the very end of the gardens there are some paintings including nature from an artist that were brilliant.
After completing gardens we went inside the house which is self guided so you can take as long as you like. Lots of unusual things inside and that's what makes it such a great place to visit. We spent almost an hour having a good look around and asking the staff inside questions.
Wd had our picnic inside the grounds and then after walked across the road to complete the 3 mile walk through the Deer Park. It starts in the park goes onto the road, passed a lovely waterfall, through the underpass, along a footpath which was a field and back to gate of Deer park and down the other side and out.
There is also a fabulous bakery on site where we purchased 2 cakes, a banana walnut & coffee cake & blueberry and almond....they were absolutely delicious. The Best thing though was all the fabulous breads you could buy and the smell of it being cooked in the air.
Plenty of free parking, toilets kitchen cafe and bakery.
We had a wonderful time there today and spent about 4-5 hours in total just taking our time and enjoying the sunshine and a day out.

我们在园区内野餐，之后穿过马路，完成了那条全长3英里的鹿园步行路线。路线从公园开始，接着走上公路，经过一处漂亮的瀑布，穿过地下通道，沿着原本是田野的小径前行，最后回到鹿园大门，再从另一侧走出园区。店里还有一家很棒的面包坊，我们在那里买了两块蛋糕：一块香蕉核桃咖啡蛋糕，另一块是蓝莓杏仁蛋糕……真的美味极了。最棒的还要数各种可购买的面包，以及空气中弥漫着的刚烤好面包的香气。
这里有充足的免费停车位、卫生间、厨房、咖啡馆和面包坊。
今天我们在那里度过了愉快的时光，总共待了4到5个小时，尽情享受阳光与悠闲的度假时光。
