点评：Anne of Cleaves museum is a timber-framed house that dates as far back as the 15th century. It was given to Anne of Cleaves after her short-lived marriage to King Henry VIII though she never lived in it. Visitors to this attraction can enjoy well-preserved interiors such as a Tudor kitchen, a beautiful bedroom with a four poster bed, and a parlour. Children can also have fun by dressing up in a selection of period clothes. You can also explore the garden which is inspired by traditional Tudor planting arrangements and learn about life in Sussex through a selection of historic domestic items.
Standard tickets cost £7.50 but you can buy a combined ticket for the house and Lewes Castle for £18.50, which is a bit pricey but still good value for money as you can easily spend half an hour exploring the house and at least an hour enjoying the castle.
