点评：About one and half hour drive from Honiara town, the falls are worth visiting. Last few kilometres of the road journey up to the guest house is very bad; you need a four wheel drive. The Guest House is a nice place to start your trek to the falls (about 6 kms both way) through dense forest with some portions are steep hike. And if it rains, you tend to slip. You require moderate fitness level. Guest House is run by a local friendly family and have good accommodation and food service for overnight stay, if you desire. Otherwise, you can do the hike on day return basis from Honiara. You need to require to cross few streams on the hike; either you have to remove shoes or need a waterproof shoes. You need to hire a guide 200 SBD. My trip was arranged by Karen of Lumitour an upcoming travel adviser. She accompanied me up to the falls which made my trip a memorable experience particular at a time when it rained continuously throughout the hike. But once you reach to the falls, it was worth a trip. Highly recommend.
