点评：My traveling companion, who knows little about wine, and I, who knows some, were both thoroughly delighted with our day's outing crisscrossing the areas of Barolo and Barbaresco with Robert of Travel Langhe. He blended wine topics with culture, perfectly matching our interests.
Driving through the countryside, he regaled us with stories and explained the forces of nature that influence the various wines produced in this tiny but mighty area. Experiencing the terroir extended beyond the fabulous wines we sampled: our delicious lunch at a secluded ristorante started with a memorable salad created from the chef's own garden. Robert's close connections to the people here opened up for us the best experiences of Le Langhe.
Everything about Robert's tour was 5-star, including Puppy Cotta, who makes for an entertaining traveling companion.
This is an exceptional experience not to be missed. I am already dreaming of a return visit.
