Rowallan Golf Course的点评
点评：A warm, sincere welcome by all Clan Campbell Ownership & Managment, George, Jamie, Nialll & Louise led to a special day of golf & hospitality.
The Colin Montgomerie designed Parkland style golf course, has matured into a must play for any golfer when visiting Scotland and in particular the Ayrshire golf region.
The Rowallan Estate set on high ground has stunning views of the Firth of Clyde. The 18 hole, (19, when including a short hole to finish all undecided ‘games’), Par 72 course has an excellent mix and variety of holes.
Each one has a unique character all to its own, with 5 Par 3’s, 5 Par 5’s and 8 Par 4’s.
Of particular note are the 5 Par 3’s each one striking in setting, varied distance and appearance. Two excellent short Par 4’s on holes 7, ‘Hedge your Bets’ and hole 12, ‘Chris’s Gamble’ gives every golfer the chance to score well. All bunkers are beautifully shaped, are visible and designed to set each hole up keeping shot selection and strategy in mind. After the round the high quality continues into the Glasshouse restaurant , one of the best 19th hole eateries in the U.K.
