Party at Northumberland college zoo/Kirkley Hall Zoo

点评：We had our son's 6th birthday party there and it was BRILLIANT. (And only £150 in total!)
We invited a small group of his friends- each child gets one parent in with them.
We were given a huge room which had loads of tables and chairs, a music player and some disco lights. We could decorate it as we chose. Some one met us at the front door to show us where we were and they were so helpful in
We decided to start the party at 12.45 as included in the package there was an animal encounter at 3 ( you could choose 1 or 3).
We decided to bring our own food- so brought a slow cooker and hot dogs. ( Which meant we saved £50.
We had food and games first in the room, then everyone went to look around the zoo- parents and kids loved this.
At 3pm we all reconvened in the party room for candles and cake then we were taken to another room to meet the animals.
John the zookeeper was fantastic, he managed to capture the attention of the whole room - and with a bunch of over excited 6 year olds, that's no mean feat! We met lizards and snakes and even watched a bearded dragon chase and eat a locust!
At the end of the party both adults and children were so impressed
For the cost of a soft play party this was just brilliant. The staff were lovely and helpful but didn't hover,
