点评:I visited his winery with a group of 11 family members for the wine and food experience.
Firstly, we had a wine class & welcome drink with Simone who explained the history of the estate, wine making process, the different wines they produce and the grading process. He has a strong passion for wine and this shines through when he speaks about it. He also explained how they make olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and the quality process. It was very interesting and I learned alot. We then had a tour of the wine cellars & vineyard. Finally we had the wine and food experience where we tasted 9 different wines produced on the estate and had a delicious meal of superb quality and taste. The food experience started with antipasto- various Tuscan cheeses, crostini, different Tuscan salami & meats, bruschette with extra virgin olive oil from the estate. Then we had first course of stuffed Ravoli with homemade pesto, main course of pork and potatoes and finally the delicious tiramsu. Each course jus got better and better.
Simone and his wife were a pleasure to deal with and made this experience for us and this was the highlight of our trip to Tuscany!
