点评:My wife and I travelled on the ‘Great Orme Tramway’ early in April 2026, and had a brilliant day.
We regarded that the £11.25 return cost was very fair for the trip experience, which was absolutely awesome …. Including all brilliant views from the top, and excellent, clean facilities everywhere.
The only negative experience we had, was during our return trip on the tram. Approximately ten of us were politely queuing to board for the downward journey, when three Indian gentlemen approached the payment kiosk to purchase tickets. They then called many more of their friends or family, who, without any consideration for those already politely waiting, attempted to make their way to the front of the queue. Despite communication problems, myself and another gentleman strongly objected to their actions, and prevented their approach, bringing the situation to the attention of the driver. He commented that there was enough room on board for everyone, but we explained that we were objecting to their actions in 'principle', regardless of the room available.
A similar situation occurred at the half-way change over, when we again politely queued to board the tram. We had to wait for those aboard to disembark from the rear of the tram, but the driver then allowed access by both the front and rear doors, enabling those at the rear of the queue to get better seats that those of us queuing correctly at the front ... it was complete madness!!!
I appreciate the job that your drivers do, but they really need to be trained regarding the correct method of allowing people entering and leaving the trams in a polite and orderly fashion ….. there are passengers that have no respect or courtesy for other travellers, and act in an unreasonable and impolite manner. Please supply this type of training for your drivers, and the journey will be far more pleasant.
