Glassblowing class a priceless experience

点评：We’ve visited Harmony Glassworks many times over the years, and we admire and enjoy all the glass art we’ve purchased there. It was my husband’s favorite shop to visit during our annual holiday trips to Cambria. He would stay to observe the glass blowers while my daughter and I
wandered through the rest of Harmony: pottery, chapel, post office, food trucks, winery… This time, my daughter and I made the trip alone after my husband’s passing earlier in the year. It felt important for us to try out the glassblowing class as a way to include him in the trip.
WOW. We were “blown away” by the care and attention we received from Nate. He is not only a top-notch glass artist, but an extraordinary teacher. He explained what we were going to do, he repeated safety instructions with each step, and then he started us off and patiently guided us as needed throughout the process. He reassured us when we felt nervous or afraid that we’d mess up or break something! We felt safe and empowered as we made our own work of art.
I highly recommend taking the Harmony Glassworks glassblowing class with Nate. We received individualized and detailed instruction to create a bespoke glass piece of our own. The very first time our family visited Cambria, we created our own ceramic mosaics. My daughter and I wanted our completed vase to mirror that experience. It surely does. The glassblowing class was a beautiful tribute to our beloved husband and father. Priceless!
