点评：We travelled to Canberra to take this ride and it was well worth the effort. Everyone working for Balloon Aloft Canberra is friendly and keen to make your experience memorable. Debbie in the office was always attentive and willing to help. Kim, who was our pilot, was interesting and also conscious of the need to provide a good flying experience, which is excellent for his passengers. And the three men attending the flight, to inflate the balloon, to meet it at the landing site, to pack it away, and to drive us back to our starting point, were all friendly and talkative and welcoming.
The flight itself is magnificent. We lifted off just before dawn on a clear day, with showers visible in the northern distance. The balloon quickly ascended and then floated gently over lakes, where water fowl scurried from the approaching vessel, and fields, where cattle bellowed in alarm, and houses where dogs dashed about and young children waved up. In no time at all the sun was rising and casting a soft orange glow across Lake Burley Griffin, the surrounding countryside and your companions. It is a special time of the day and this is a fabulous way to experience it. It was a trip back in history to a time when no other form of flight was known. Incredibly, it is till here today, delivering a unique experience that will be remembered always.
The landing was fun and even helping to pack away was its own experience, with passengers invited to walk around inside the deflating balloon and to help expel the remaining air and compress the nylon bag. Every part of this day was fabulous.
We are grateful to Debbie, Kim and their crew for making this life-long memory one we will always cherish. I have no hesitation in recommending Balloon Aloft Canberra to anyone considering a hot air balloon flight. You will not be disappointed.
