点评：We enjoyed an absolutely brilliant time on our Platinum Concorde Tour last week; it was one of the best days out we've had! My husband and I are both aviation nuts and we couldn't have been more impressed by this fantastic experience. The tour was led by Gareth and Sandy, whose enthusiasm for the subject and professional manner really made the tour feel special. Over two hours we saw virtually every aspect of Concorde, from the cabin to the flight deck, as well as plenty of time beneath the aircraft learning all about not only the history of the plane, but the technical side of Concorde too.
I am a massive Concorde fan and this tour was genuinely a dream come true. Sandy and Gareth were happy to answer questions and take photos, so we could all take home a memento of a very memorable afternoon. A glass of bubbly and a commemorative certificate were a couple of very welcome extras too.
The cherry on top of this great tour is seeing Concorde's nose rise and fall not once but twice, which left a few of us a little bit misty eyed!
I should mention that we had to reschedule our tour and it was no problem to do so. Everyone from the staff on the phone to those on reception, our tour guides and even the chaps on the car parking booth (parking is included in your tour ticket) were a credit to the Runway Visitor Park.
We will definitely take the tour again; if you love Concorde, this is not to be missed!
