One of the worst panto experiences I’ve ever had.

点评：This panto used to be a cut above the rest in Limerick, but over the last two years it has completely lost its standards. The script is tacky, tasteless, and frankly embarrassing. When this is the most expensive panto in the city, and supposedly the only professional one, the drop in quality is unacceptable.
The advertised famous face dropped out the week before. Everyone in Limerick knows why — yet tickets were still sold at full price with no transparency. The original principal being a no-show left the production feeling hollow, and the replacement cast lacked energy and presence throughout.
To make matters worse, when I raised concerns with staff, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness from an older female staff member who clearly had no interest in customer service.
It’s genuinely disappointing to see something that once had a great reputation fall this far. At this stage, I’m far more optimistic about the Lime Tree Theatre, and hopefully they can become the new standard for panto in Limerick — because this production no longer deserves that title.
