点评:Having visited previously I was looking forward to visiting again. Plenty of parking but not clear anywhere how much parking costs, not even on the machine in the car park that was out of order so you had to pay at the exit barrier. You need to pay as you leave rather than get a ticket when you arrive (£2 for just under 2 hours is the answer).
Went for a walk following one of the waymarked trails, overgrown in places but some of that may be the time of year. Once finished I popped into the cafe for a drink. You can either order from your table or at the counter with a table number. No mobile signal and couldn't find a WiFi code so had to order at the counter. Not good when you are on your own and need to give a table number which becomes a problem at busy times.
Staff were pleasant but why the teabag for the pot of tea came on the side and I had to put it in the pot myself is a mystery. If I go again I will take a flask!
It seems that things have gone downhill since being taken over by Forest Holidays, no doubt cost cutting chasing profits.
