Don't bother unless you like it cold and unplugged
Chessington World of Adventures Resort的点评
点评：Arrived to find the room was freezing cold. Spoke to reception at around 6:30pm to say it wasn't working. They said they would get it checked out.
Came back to the hotel a couple of hours later to find nothing had been done about it. They sent up a guy with us who confirmed it was not working, he reset it and asked us to phone back if still not working.
Still not working so they gave us two options - have two electric heaters in our room or have the maintenance man come and fix it (at almost 10pm at night with two young kids).
We chose the heaters as least disruptive to the kids only to find there was only two plugs in the room so we couldn't have heat and charge our phones overnight....one or the other....
Asked for a lead so we could have extra plugs for the heaters to be told I had to go down to reception and pay for extension lead with a £10 deposit.
Paid up and got given a lead with, no joke, one plug on it....so I plug it into one plug to get one plug 🫠 So then I spent the next 20 minutes trying to be refunded for the damn lead which is of zero use to me.
So we are huddled in our room, around two electric heaters with dead phones because apparently part of this experience is feeling like you're back in the 1940s.
I've stayed in a lot of hotels, all around the world and never have I experienced anything quite like this! Absolutely shocking!! I paid a lot of money for this hotel and it was just a complete and utter shambles.
On top of this they're online booking system for the pool didn't work, you have to book in for breakfast (but they don't tell you this until you read a leaflet in reception ) and the room was dirty with some other kids handprints all over the mirror!

我们挤在房间里，围着两个电暖器，电话也打不通，因为据说这家酒店的特色之一就是让你感觉回到了1940年代。
我住过很多酒店，遍布世界各地，从来没遇到过这种情况！简直太糟糕了！！我花了那么多钱住这家酒店，结果却发现它一团糟。
更糟糕的是，他们的泳池在线预订系统也坏了，早餐还要预订（但他们直到你在前台看宣传单才会告诉你），而且房间很脏，镜子上到处都是其他孩子的手印！
