点评:Dead behind the eyes…
That isn’t just the trapped animals, but the staff and people walking around.
Today was supposed to be a nice few hours at Chessington Zoo . What we got from the moment we finally figured which car park to park in, was so far from that.
Please prepare yourselves for total confusion of where you need to go (just to enter the zoo!!!!).
Also prepare yourselves for a lack of wayfinding once inside the zoo. Every part we walked through had a dead end/closed gate. So think maze, but with animals thrown in. Only the animals are sooooo uncared for. The reindeers looked depressed whilst lying on a damp floor and a yard smaller than a postage stamp,
We move on to the Gorillas. Beautiful creatures, but my lord they look under weight. Felt rather uncomfortable watching them.
Be careful of the uneven pavements, cracks in concrete throughout this place and the muddy path to see the Giraffes.
The single Zebra was the final straw. It looked depressed. No company. No space. No one there to open the gate for it to move into the slightly bigger field. No care full stop.
This was the point we decided to leave the maze to get a refreshment, because there is NO WHERE to even get a glass of water, so back into the hotel just for that and to exit.
“Will you be entering back in” we was asked. “you couldn’t pay me enough” was my response.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND TIME AT THIS HELL HOLE.
