Well laid out and spacious zoo
黑池动物园的点评
点评：I visited Blackpool Zoo with my partner. We have a little tradition of visiting a zoo in every city we go to, so this one had to be ticked off the list!
There’s a really good variety of animals, and for the most part it looked like they had plenty of space in their enclosures. The zoo itself is nicely laid out, looks well kept, and there are loads of great spots to get some really good photos. It’s lovely being able to see so many animals up close and looking like they’re thriving.
That said, a few animals did seem a bit sad and were pacing up and down, which is always difficult to see. The queues for food and drinks were also quite long at times, even though the zoo didn’t actually feel that busy, it just seemed like they could have done with a few more staff members on.
Price wise, I’d say it’s slightly on the steep side for what you get. Food and drink inside are about what you’d expect for a zoo, not outrageous, but definitely average “day out” prices.
Overall, we enjoyed our visit and it was a nice addition to our little zoo tradition, but there are a few areas that could be improved.
