A must visit!!
Althorp Estate的点评
点评：Myself and my friend visited The Althorp Estate on what was probably one of the hottest days of the year in early July.
It was the most beautiful and perfect day. (Dare I say it.. it was too hot!!)
We had a wonderful experience throughout the day. Staff were so knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely interested in how far we had come to visit. I could not fault any member of staff. I was so impressed.
The house is amazing. All of the history and paintings are incredible. You could spend hours in the house alone! Staff on hand to talk you through the paintings or pieces of interest. The library was my favourite! If only we could all have such a library at home! Wow!!
The Diana memorial by her lake is so beautiful. It's so calming and serene and we spent time just sitting by the peaceful lake and memorial. The grounds and the house are breathtaking!! They are obviously well tended to and high standards are kept. Again, you could spend hours wandering around, getting lost in the beauty of the place.
The cafe was a little disappointing, however we really appreciated that Althorp is not open all year round so there would be no point having a full scale kitchen. We did have a lovely sandwich and a couple of drinks. I'd take a packed lunch next time.
Overall, myself and my friend had the best day. Probably one of my favourite days out of this year!! Thank you to Earl Spencer for opening up your beautiful home to the public and for the wonderful staff for a great day. I would 100% return.

戴安娜王妃湖畔的纪念碑美极了。它如此宁静祥和，我们花了很多时间坐在宁静的湖边和纪念碑旁。庭院和房子都美得令人窒息！！它们显然维护得很好，而且保持着高标准。同样，你可以在里面漫步几个小时，沉浸在这里的美景中。
咖啡馆有点令人失望，不过我们真的很感激奥尔索普庄园并非全年开放，所以没必要再建一个功能齐全的厨房。我们确实吃了一份美味的三明治和几杯饮料。下次我会打包午餐。
总的来说，我和朋友度过了最美好的一天。这可能是我今年最喜欢的一天之一！！感谢斯宾塞伯爵向公众开放他们美丽的庄园，也感谢他们优秀的员工，让我度过了美好的一天。我一定会再来的。
