点评:When we arrived at the car park there was plenty of space. We passed one unhappy group of 4 adults who told us loudly that the house was "absolute cr*p".
We continued however and went to get our tickets. We had free entry thanks yo being members of Cadw.
Staff were friendly and welcoming and there were lots of guide staff on hand to help. The house and gardens are vast and so impressive.
We learnt so much about the end of Victoria's life and how devoted she and her husband were to their children.
The accessibility shuttle bus to the Swiss cottage were brilliant and really helped me with my dodgy back to get the most from our visit.
The wonderful walled garden, the children's gardens, the terraced gardens and fountains are such sights to behold and the items in the museum and in the house itself are amazing.
The loos were spotless and the shop was welcoming and well stocked.
We spent about 3.5hrs at the house and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys history and gardens.
I am still wondering why the group we met on the way in didn't appreciate it!?!
