点评：Brno's main square is also known as Freedom Square (Náměstí Svobody), a triangular-shape open space of the city and is well known for events, historic buildings. Equally famous is the modern black "astronomical clock" (releasing a marble hourly).
It was a weekday late afternoon when we were here, already dark as it enters Dec early-winter. Our Local Guide explained the various remarkable buildings, from the Renaissance Dům pánů z Lipé (House of the Lords of Lipá) with its mythological and biblical scenes at its façade to the Kleinův palác (Klein Palace) which is a Renaissance Revival building with big cast-iron oriel windows. And the streets are lined with charming cafes and boutiques, touted as a central hub for markets and cultural life,
But what draws our attention was the Xmas Market set up at the central! Everyone is in marrying-making mode visiting the various stalls set up. There is even 2 elevated platforms in the Sq where ppe can climb up and take elevated views of the wonderful views.
