点评:I'd been meaning to visit for a while, having taking a family member for a belated Christmas gift. It's a lovely spot, but, as others have said, it's quite pricey for what it is. £3 parking, then £14 per adult to walk around the grounds and the tower itself. Everywhere is really well maintained and the tower itself was impressive with amazing views. However, you would pay a similar price for a National Trust property, which are typically way, way bigger (property and land) than Broadway Tower, and I feel you get a lot more for your money. A great audio tour in the tower itself, but, without it, you could probably go in and out within 15 minutes. The Morris & Brown cafe was excellent (really great pies), but staff across the whole site all came across as not really wanting to be there. Not much enthusiasm and not much in the way of smiles. This was the case in the tower itself, the shop and the cafe. It just lacked warmth, which I always find you get at National Trust properties. All in all though, a nice trip out.
