点评:This is an amazing space full of living history, demonstrating ancient technologies with enthusiasm for decades now. An outreach experience for schools and colleges, as well as place to develop your own skills utilised by our ancestors, and huddle around the fire to list to talks and storytelling.
I've visited on and off over the last decade or more and it keeps being added to, always with something new to look at.
My only criticism is that the car park is shockingly bad still in 2026. It detracts from the experience. I recently attended for an evening storytelling. I can get onboard with the site not adding to light pollution but it feels damned dangerous for anyone partially sighted or disabled. You can't see where you're going, and the car park is sloped, not properly tarmaced, no defined parking spots, and one time I managed to pick up a large nail in my tyre from the site.
