Kiltartan Gregory Museum的点评
点评：We had a wonderful visit to the Gregory museum and were fortunate enough to meet and be guided there by Rena. What Rena does not know about the Gregrory family , Coole and Kiltartan is surely not worth knowing.. The museum itself contains many interesting artefacts of the Gregory family, lovingly gathered and displayed by Rena and other passionate volunteers. The old school building within which it is housed was funded by Lady Gregory’s husband and educated generations of children in Kiltartan.
Highly recommended to all who have interest in Lady Gregory, Yeats and history generally. The museum is accessible by shuttle bus from Gort, which also serves the wonderful Thoor Ballylee, Coole and other points of interest in the area.
The museum celebrates thirty years this coming Saturday 8th August 2026. Congratulations to all who have been involved over the years, go maire sibh céad!
