5 Magical Days in Sicily with Sicily's best Chauffeur, Luciano!

点评：We spent 5 incredible days in Sicily with Luciano as our driver. It was an amazing trip from the moment Luciano picked us up from the Catania Airport to our final destination in Taormina. He coordinated excellent tour guides- we especially loved our tours in Ortigia and Agrigento. He scheduled two wine experiences- both were great! However, one small family winery served us incredibly generous pours of wine and the most delicious, locally-inspired, traditional dishes- prepared by the owners and winemakers—a truly off-the-beaten-path and unforgettable experience. Chocolate tasting in Modica was also fun. If you go, be sure to taste the dark chocolate with prickly pear!
Luciano was also flexible and accommodated our schedule changes - particularly the day we poured ourselves into the beach club at Scala dei Turchi (a beach club recommended by Luciano). We ended up lounging there all day after touring the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. We enjoyed cocktails on the beach, a scrumptious dinner in the beach club restaurant, and we even got the playlist from the club manager. The music playing at the beach club created a fun and relaxing vibe - and we closed out the day with a stunning sunset over the sea!
Luciano's Mercedes van was clean and comfortable, and it was a nice luxury to have someone do all the driving (especially after wine tasting!). My husband and I were traveling with two other couples. All of us agreed it was magical to have someone born and raised in Sicily show us what Sicily has to offer—from the can't-miss experiences to the behind-the-scenes local flair to the unexpected sunsets and playlists.
Luciano was punctual and professional. Plus, he has great style! We highly recommend Luciano to anyone wanting to experience Sicily in luxury and safety. We will definitely call Luciano the next time we're in Sicily.
