Interesting place, might depend on your tour guide though
Chislehurst Caves的点评
点评：We visited on my husband’s Birthday hoping to experience a flavour of what his dear Nan endured during WW2 when she was resident.
I know this is possible as had visited previously on a school trip.
However, the Guide we had spent most of the allocated time slot talking about ancient Saxon and Druid times (not much to show for that) and a ‘hilarious’ story (at least he thought it was) about an old colleague called Dave. He lost us many times during that story and it was certainly NOT what we went there for.
Anyway, after he finished presenting himself to us we finally moved onto the evidence of WW2 life which was rich in evidence, but felt like we were rushed through it after spending 10 minutes looking at an old ‘lake’ where we were treated to Taz’s unique style of tourist interaction. He would ask everyone to answer the question then ridicule the answers “What! Why would you say that?”
We didn’t go there for an argument or challenge. Just to learn about the history of these caves that relate to our family.
We left feeling disappointed.
There was no talk of how far the caves stretch (I provided that in the car home afterwards) or any kind of geographical history.
Maybe a different tour guide would have provided a more robust tour of the WW2 experience.

导游根本没有提及这些洞穴的延伸范围（后来我在回家的车上补充了这一信息），也没有讲述任何相关的地理历史。
或许换一位导游的话，能带我们更深入地了解二战时期的历史吧。
