点评:We have come to this museum for many years, and this time we came with a small group of friends and were delighted to find a staff member who was so kind and informative, and patient with our older group members. We want to say thanks to the museum in general for offering us a trip advisor card at the end, and inviting us to give feedback - that's big of the museum management and at least they are open to hearing what people think. Unfortunately our visit was overshadowed by the presence of a dangerous black mold infestation in the museum. Black mold is extremely unhealthy and infects children, older people, and people with vulnerabilities such as asthma and respiratory illness. We were informed that the reason some areas are barriered off is because of the black mold problem, which is quite visible and obviously not under control. The barriers are flimsy bits of rope, and of course, black mold infects people, especially children, with its spores, so rope wont help at all. Apparently the museums director, Maggie Appleton, has been aware of this danger to visitors for some time, and has not taken any action to protect them. Special mention must go the lovely staff who are so informative and patient, and credit must be given where due, as the museum does appear to have a policy of providing trip advisor cards at the end, so at least we know we have a way of expressing our concerns. All the best.
