点评:During the second English Summer Heat Bubble I took my son to Osterley Park a much awaited trip that was long overdue albeit via public transport Tube and walking direct from Osterley Station over an enjoyable mile via a sandwich and coffee at the Nepalese Park Café en- route. Osterley House was closed on Tuesday but we had a oscillating long walking tour around the designated pathways that is not as well signposted to direct NT visitors as it ought to be. The Park is massive some 345 acres in total and The Garden recommended but clearly was in its hey-day in the 17th/18thC under the Robert Child Family until 1782 and then Villiers/Child owners until gifted to NT in 1949.There is definitely room for further scoop and attitude to greatly enhance the Walled Garden to make it more beguiling to visitors.
